Upload the PDF and verify the design proof
This is Step 2 in Creating an order in XpressDocs for the Agent Mailer Program.
Name the order using proper naming structure.
The structure is as follows:
[Farming or SOI] [Area or Sublist Name] - [Last Name], [First Name] - [YYYY.MM.DD]
Here’s an example:
Farming Oak Forest - Hohman, Nikki - 2022.03.22
Upload the PDF under the Photos Section.
Click on Click here to add photos to open the file uploader window.
Click on Browse and select the PDF files to use.
Once you upload the two files, ensure that the Quality indicator is at least Medium Quality (orange) or High Quality (green).
If they are Low Quality, go back to the Design Team and ask them to provide a higher-resolution file to use. A Low Quality file will result in a poor, blurry, pixelated print file.
Click on Generate Final Proof.
Once you’ve verified that the print quality, click on Generate Final Proof.
This will give you a “Refreshing Proof” spinner icon that may last for 15-30 seconds. This is normal.
Check the proof for quality.
Once the proof has been generated, there are 2 important things to check here:
- Check that the red Safety Margin area does NOT have any important images or text that will be cut off. If there is any content that are in the red Safety Margin, it WILL get cut off on print. If this is the case, return to the Design Team and have them fix the layout and upload an edited PDF before continuing.
- If you are using a Mailing template, check that the Mailing Area does not have any important content underneath it. The Mailing Area should be blank. If it is not, return to the Design Team and have them fix the layout and upload an edited PDF before continuing.
Once you have checked these 2 items, accept the Terms and Acknowledgement and click on the blue Continue button.
